Product Code: TD/GRE/RCD25
This is the first release of this book which is based on the new Reinforced Concrete design standards SANS 51992-1-1 which is an adoption of the Euro Code.  Note that SANS 10100-1 will be withdrawn at the end of 2026. This book provides a valuable learning guide and set of notes to students at Universities and Universities of Technology.  The book will also be useful reference to qualified structural engineers. The purpose of this book is to take the reader through the design of reinforced concrete elements, keeping in close touch with the relevant clauses of the national standard. The general approach adopted in this book is to clearly explain the basic principles applicable to each section before working through a typical design example to support the theory covered.
